Managed Software

UAS has a standard list of software (employee build) that is licensed and installed on all centrally managed computers.

A virtual employee build with this standard software is available to all staff and faculty currently employed with UAS. A non-virtual build is also available and recommended primarily for employees who travel extensively. The following lists reflect current and past employee build versions. Centrally managed computers can be updated to the latest employee build and/or have additional licensed software (including departmentally purchased and managed software) installed through the Software Center or upon request. Please visit the Updates & Rebuilds page for information regarding our update and rebuild processes. The latest virtual and non-virtual builds were approved on May 31st, 2022.

Software Center is part of Microsoft's System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), which allows Information Services (IS) to deploy, manage, support, and update applications and services across CAMPUS domain-joined workstations.

Additional software for personal devices is also available to University Staff and Students on the downloads page.

Virtual

Computers with a Virtual Build are managed through a centralized system, allowing for greater usability and management. For more information, see the Employee Computers page.
