Outside the field of formal education, Christine is passionate about helping people explore concepts around end of life care and what it means to individuals to "die well." As a brain injury survivor, Christine also has a personal interest in brain plasticity and chemistry, and how those topics intersect with school experiences.

Outside of teaching, Corrine spends her time traveling, kayaking, hiking, reading, and enjoying time with her family. During the summer you can find her relaxing in Gustavus, AK, the gateway to Glacier Bay National Park, where she fell in love with Alaska.

Cindy brings more than two decades of experience in education, including roles as a teacher, intervention specialist, instructional coach, district leader, and principal of two rural Alaska schools. Since moving to Alaska in 2009, she has remained committed to helping students, educators, and communities thrive through meaningful connections and opportunities for growth.
