Employee accounts are immediately available once an employee has an active employee role in our database or is designated as the instructor of record for any UAS course. Employee accounts expire 7 days after employment ends. Activation and deactivation of employee accounts is determined based on information provided by our Human Resources department. HR will update user roles based on their employment status.

Getting Started

Welcome! Once you have accepted a position at UAS, here are the next steps to get you started.

  1. Access your UA Account in ELMO
    Create a login account for all of your UA resources through ELMO
  2. Contact Information
    Make sure your contact info is up to date in UA Online and set your pronouns if desired
  3. New Employee IT Checklist
    Work with your supervisor to ensure you have access the resources you'll need
  4. Faculty and Staff page
    Check out the faculty and staff resources available to you

Employee Resources

Classroom Support

Located at the entrance to the Egan Library, the Classroom Support Desk is not the Helpdesk and can only provide general information and technical classroom support at the UAS Juneau campus.

Media Services

Located in Hendrickson 101B, Media Services assists UAS with audio and video needs, including; sound reinforcement, live multi-camera video productions, media transfers, distance education and instructional technology support.
